Description

Obsolete 1/43rd scale white metal model, handbuilt many years ago by Geoff Brown of GB Models from the C Scale kit. Interesting model, the base plate reads in part "Mille Miglia 1949" however all the Maserati A6G cars that ran that year were open spiders. On the non-original box, Geoff has written 1956 Mille Miglia driven by Bellini and Carosio, however this pair drove car number 318 in 1956, not 316. Geoff is retired now, but he usually got this sort of stuff right. In any event, the model is very nicely finished, upgraded with half open windows and excellent wheels.
