Description
1/43rd scale white metal model of Beart Rodger Climax as driven by Stirling Moss at the Silverstone International Meeting in May 1955. By now, the car had been painted in Ford Ludlow Green. Moss managed to bring the car home in 19th place overall. Handbuilt in England exclusively for mimodels, mounted on base with outer box.
We have also produced the earlier car #54, as debuted by Moss at the Goodwood Easter Meeting in April 1955. The car was raced unpainted as #54, as is presented as a realistic polished white metal casting. Additional photos of these models can be emailed on request.
Only one of these cars was ever made, and it was not very successful, despite later outings at various venues in England throughout 1955 and 1956 at the hands of Jack Fairman and Les Leston. These later versions are available to be custom ordered, email us at sales@mimodels.com if you are interested.
